About EKarma

To promote self-employment in youth, the Department of Higher Education, Haryana, in collaboration with Appworx IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., has established 5 centers of Excellence in Government Colleges.

The objective of EKarma is to educate the unemployed Graduate/Post-Graduate youth of Haryana on the Freelancing platform like upwork.com, Guru.com, freelancer.com, and to generate the freelancing/Self Employment/Employment opportunities.

The EKarma program will cater to educate the unemployed graduates and aims to reduce the rate of Unemployment by encouraging self-employment through internet-based freelancing work Opportunities.

The project aims to provide 6 Months free training to potential freelancers to improve their skill set and support them in earning a sustainable income and attain growing financial mobility.

EKarma Training program is an initiative by the department of Higher Education to promote freelancing in the state of Haryana. The program aims to provide free training on digital (latest technology) freelancing skills and help the youth of Haryana to become financially independent. This program will provide the international exposure to the youth and arrange the opportunity to earn from global freelancing market in $$ along with ease of working from home. This Project is implemented by Appworx IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd as Industry Partner.
Any Graduate/Post Graduate having Domicile of Haryana and within the age limit of 18-30 years is eligible for this program. Ongoing Students of colleges, Recent College graduates, college dropouts are also eligible for this program.
Training Duration is 4-6 months. But, we need your commitment that you will complete the training program and accept the freelancing/Self-employment/Employment opportunities arranged by the Industry Partner after completion of training.
This Training is absolutely free for all the eligible candidates. However, you need to sign an MOU that you will accept the freelancing/Self-employment/Employment opportunities arranged by the industry partner after completion of training or you will share the proof of income earned by you within six months after completion of training.

Post registration, you will be invited for an Aptitude test at the training center. If you qualify, you will be informed about the batch timing and the course. However, the final registration will be confirmed only after the complete validation of your eligibility documents.

Yes, after successful completion of Training, Certificate will be provided by Department of Higher Education/College. Completion certificate will be purely based on the attendance and assignments during the training period.

No, Enrollment in EKarma Training Program does not guarantee any Job. The Program aims to enhance the professional capability and employment. However, Industry Partner will assist all the enrolled candidates to get some decent employment or Freelancing Projects.
There is no Minimum income guaranteed in Freelancing. However, there is no earning limit too and people can earn from $5 to $50 per hour based on their capability.

After completion of training, Industry partner will assist you in all possible ways to create your startups. Industry partner can themselves become a part of your startup.
Industry partner will try to arrange the sitting space for free or at subsidized cost for your startup.
The Program is funded by the Govt. of Haryana. Appworx as an industry partner will assist and handhold the candidates at their earning stage after completion of training. To review the overall output of the scheme, you need to submit your earning proof for at least 6 months after completion of training.
